Wolfwood

  • Last school year on Basis we had graphic classes, which were all to awesome and greatly enjoyable. First thing we tried, which Ive done once before in grade school, was carving in Linoleum. The technique is called Relief print. Means you carve out the spaces that are meant to be white (or rather: leave out the stuff you want black).

After trying out a bunch of different motifs I picked my wolfman, making his first appearance here. The second time was this graphic print and thirdly when I was painting with ink for an exhibition, he's here to. Means I'll probably see more of him in the future.

Here's the first and second/final print. I type second cause I meant to add more but never finished it.
